Y1. Mixed Mutations
There are several "families" of mutations.
Mutations after the preposition o
are called mixed mutations as they are made up
of :
- 4 softening mutations which concern the
consonants G, GW, B et M :
-
- G / C'H
- gortoz, o
c'hortoz
-
- GW / W
- gweladenniñ, o
weladenniñ
-
- B / V
- beajiñ, o
veajiñ
-
- M / V
- mont, o vont
- and one hardening mutation from D to T :
- D / T
- debriñ, o tebriñ
Y2. Making the feminine and plural
Mignon becomes mignonez in the
feminine. Their respective plurals in
-ed are therefore mignoned and
mignonezed.
